History of BEP EUROPE N.V.
BEP Europe has been active in the field of automation since 1980.
As a former Fabricom entity, BEP Europe has realised a lot of automation projects and acquired thorough technological knowledge in several disciplines and in various markets.
Projects have been realised for the following industries:
- steel and non-ferrous (Cockeril Sambre, Sidmar, Metallurgy Hoboken-Overpelt)
- glass (Splintex, Glaceries St. Roch, Vegla)
- textile (Fabelta)
- food (Tiense Suikerraffinaderij)
- automotive (Renault, Ford, VW, GM)
From 1990 our company has developed a product line for all end-of-line tests for the automotive industry. Since then the originally Belgian market extended to the rest of Europe.
In 1996 BEP Europe has been created to run the automation business, which has been incorporated in a worldwide operating company named B.E.P. (Burke E. Porter Machinery Company), with supplementary production sites in the United States and in China.
Building on its worldwide presence and multidisciplinary technological knowledge BEP Europe started a 'green energy' activity. In the first phase, BEP Europe is focusing on the world wide valorisation of waste heat.
